An element of surprise!
Calves and young stock are probably the best way for folks
with cattle experience to start a herd of Miniature Herefords.
By purchasing young stock, there is a good chance
that you may be buying better quality and smaller animals
than the price would indicate because it is difficult to estimate
the Mature Frame Score prior to the calf's first birthday.
For those of you interested in extreme
quality
and the smallest size possible, with calves you will have your 'pick of the crop'.
